One of the worst thing i've done in my life is told someone 'you don't understand me'. Nobody can ever achieve a decent level of understanding for another human being given how we change every second, so many possibilities, everything is unpredictable. It's not fair to demand for someone to understand you, but i do hope i find people who do or at least people who makes me feel comfortable enough to be myself.
I came across a theory someone came up with, well.... not a theory per say, more of an opinion. He said that to know an opposite sex well, you should talk to her friends cos one reveals most of oneself when one is comfortable and more importantly oneself is affected greatly by the people around he/she. Which is to say, we reflect characteristics of people we are close to, some under conscious effort, some subconsciously. I wouldn't subscribe to this idea totally but i do see its validity to a certain extent.
However, that being said, i guess maybe you shouldn't know too much of someone, in a sense that knowing more might actually affect your judgement for the person especially so if the person has different personalities with different groups of people, not because that person is fake, but rather it might be more viable to act that way?
Well.... I've no idea what i'm trying to say but Shakespeare's words can sum it all up. All the world is a stage. And all the men and women merely players
