"Anything we have known, anything we forgotten" sums up wongfu short pretty well. And with kina grannis's In your arms, BAM! It's so wonderful it makes me feel like the best kind of love is the one that leaves with a little regret such that when you look back, it seems like you've lost a love you would never get back.
Sometimes I wonder if you really do get jaded the more you love, the more people disappoint you and the more you are exposed to reality. But during times like this, I just have to think about the special people i get to meet and talk to about things that fascinate me, fill train rides with conversation such that it didn't seem like an hour of traveling, such kind of love makes me feel like you don't have to think of the future, you don't have to worry about parting ways or drifting apart, it's just now right? Like right now, you are happy, happy to have friends you have endless conversation with, friends that wouldn't make you worry if friendship like love and all other things in the world would end eventually, people that give you enough confidence for the future. I think that's faith and that's the "taming" ideology in The little prince, the willing submission to be tamed, to allow someone to hold a piece of your heart, not try to take it back and believe you wouldn't have to.
